What qualifications and experience do you need?

Most of our outdoor working opportunities require little or no qualifications or experience with the exception of a driving licence. We will offer you in-house training on basic and technical skills needed to carry out certain jobs. There will be opportunity to refresh this training, allowing you to build on your skills and knowledge, and gain new skills. Certificates and skills vary from job to job and may include:

•LGV Driver Licence
•Certificate for Handling and Spraying Pesticides

As well as the benefits of working in an active outdoor environment there can be opportunities for additional work, e.g. in periods of bad weather when workers need to be deployed outwith normal hours. This type of work is paid at enhanced rates.
