Construction & Built Environment (Graduate Level)

 

The newly launched Graduate Level Apprenticeship in Construction & Built Environment offers the opportunity to work within Aberdeenshire Council’s Property and Facilities Service whilst working towards a BSc (Hons) in Construction and the Built Environment.  In partnership with Robert Gordon University you will study as an undergraduate student at the Scott Sutherland School of Architecture and the Built Environment.  The basis of the Apprenticeship will be blended learning, in the workplace with virtual study and occasional university attendance.  In the workplace you will gain experience in Construction Programme Delivery across disciplines including Facilities Management and Asset Management supporting the delivery of projects and programmes.

Qualification

BSc (Hons) in Construction and the Built Environment over 4 years.

Entry Requirements

This is an undergraduate Apprenticeship, candidates must hold the following essential qualifications:

  • SQA Higher: BBCC to include English or a written subject requiring the use of English, Maths or a Science subject required at National 5 level
    Grade C or above, or
  • GCE A Level: BCC and two further passes to include English and Maths at GCSE Grade C or above, or
  • Foundation Apprenticeship (SCQF Level 6), SVQs/NV, non-relevant HNC’s, access programmes and overseas qualifications.
