About your role:
Working within a consultation model of service delivery and working collaboratively with children and young people, parents/carers, educational establishments and other agencies – you will be providing a consultation service to educational establishments in order to promote a collaborative, problem-solving approach to supporting children, young people and their families.
We appreciate that time with family and friends is precious. In recognition of this, a flexible working pattern is available to help you manage your work/life balance as needed. There is scope to choose when you work, in addition to opportunity to work in a choice of different locations, with the potential of a day or so based at home. You won’t need to worry about the logistics of flexible working – Aberdeenshire Council has a fantastic source of ICT support making flexible working easy. The provision of laptops, tablets, smartphones and electronic case files have transformed the way we work.

About the Area:
The current positions we have available are located in the North of Aberdeenshire within Peterhead, Fraserburgh and Banff, with flexibility
These communities host a wealth of activities – from golfing and bird watching, through to a range of water sports – all with the backdrop of the scenic North coast. This area also has a wealth of history, possessing Scotland’s first lighthouse and numerous stately homes, including Slain’s Castle (the inspiration behind Bram Stoker’s Dracula).
