Aberdeenshire Educational Psychology Service is proud to have achieved and maintain the Government approved Customer Service Excellence Accreditation. It emphasises the need for an organisation to adapt its practice to meet more effectively the needs of service users.
Serving Aberdeenshire from pre-birth to 24 years old. The mission of the service is to bring psychology to the heart of learning, teaching, working with others to improve life experiences and outcomes for all children and young people. A key objective is to support the professional development of staff in educational establishments to build their skills and confidence in meeting learners’ needs and raising attainment and achievement. The six main offices are based in Banff, Fraserburgh, Peterhead, Kintore, Woodhill House Aberdeen and Stonehaven.
The role of Principal Educational Psychologist is an opportunity to lead a highly motivated team of Depute Educational Psychologists and Educational Psychologists, based across Aberdeenshire. The preferred candidate will have strong leadership skills, the ability to deliver change effectively and find creative solutions. A commitment to putting the customer first and continually providing an excellence service.
