CSA-Training

 

Training is delivered one Service at a time and is flexible, depending on how individual Advisors progress.  Customer Services has dedicated Training Officers to support learning and they deliver training both face-to-face and virtually via Teams where appropriate.  Advisors are also expected to do some on-line learning themselves in preparation for training sessions.

 

The first training session will include an introduction to our telephone system and customer relationship management system where we capture customer contact information, along with a record of their enquiry and action taken.

 

An Advisor may start off their training on Roads which only takes approx. 2 days.  Once they are comfortable answering queries on that Service, they may move onto Housing or Council Tax, both of which take 2 weeks. However, we cannot guarantee you won’t get a Waste query on the Roads line!
